Terms of use

Last updated 10 September 2026

By creating a Cherishly account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.

What Cherishly is

A private place to keep the people you care about, the dates that matter to them, and the notes you would otherwise forget, plus reminders before those dates arrive.

Your account

  • You must be 16 or over.
  • Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for activity on your account.
  • Only add other people's details where you have a genuine personal reason to hold them, and keep them to yourself.

Acceptable use

Do not use Cherishly to send bulk or unsolicited messages, to harass anyone, to build marketing lists, or to try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service.

Free and paid plans

The free plan covers up to 10 people and is genuinely free. Cherishly Plus is £3 a month or £30 a year, billed in advance, and can be cancelled at any time; you keep access to the end of the period you have paid for. Prices include applicable tax where shown.

Payments are taken by Paddle.com Market Ltd as merchant of record, and Paddle's own buyer terms apply to the transaction itself. Cherishly never sees your card details. Cancellation and refund details are set out on our billing and refunds page.

Reminders are best efforts

We work hard to deliver every reminder, but email, calendar and phone notifications depend on services outside our control. Cherishly is a helpful safety net, not a guarantee, so please do not rely on it alone for anything critical.

Your content

What you store stays yours. You give us only the permission needed to store it and show it back to you. You can export or delete it at any time from Settings.

Ending the agreement

You can delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why where we can.

Liability

The service is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are heard by its courts.
